Congrats on the PR - I’m sure that felt great. By the way, why such a large jump at the end (105-117.5)?

Thanks. There was still a lot of air in the 105 kg/232 lbs squat and decided to just bag it in one shot. I had made a pact with myself not to attempt more than a 2.5 kg/6 lbs PR before coming into the gym. Just hitting the first squat PR would be significant enough and figured I still ought to play on the safe-side of the fence. 117.5 kg/260 lbs was stiff, but could have done a bit more. Happy? Oh yes! Content? No.

Good job Kris. I’m sure glad I don’t work out during those hours. Keep up the hard work.

Thanks Gords. I’m a night owl so it works well for me. Working out before noon? No way!

Congratulations on the squat PR, Kris. Seems like Michael Hope’s advice to you was a revelation.

Yes. Stay tuned, more PR videos to come. This was just a light warm-up.

I thought I saw someone say ‘working out before noon’..??
Nope. Not me. Well, not yet anyway. Except I did a few years back. Ancient history that is, honest.
Who in their right mind would do that if one has a choice..?

You really tore it up with those two workouts! Congrats on the squat PR!
