Being quite honest, it didn’t feel all that heavy, so we theorized that a good portion of the weight was being offloaded by the fact that the ab-board tilts and that the weight distributes more over toward the far end at top position. Still, it does sound massive, don’t it? “Yeah, I can do seated calf raises with 174 kgs. Yeah, ten reps…” =)
Alas no, I’d say the equivalent on a machine made for this purpose would be around 80kg.
