It’s a bit difficult to see in the video - do you begin the walkout with your feet aligned, or one slightly behind the other? Up until now I’ve kept the feet nicely lined up right from the start, and taken an equal number of steps backwards with each foot in order to clear the rack.
However, I just came across a mention of the benefits of an offset starting position on Weight Trainers United (http://weighttrainersunited.com/walkout.html). I’ll certainly be experimenting with that in my next squat session.

With feet aligned, then one step back with the right followed by the left.
