Thanks guys!
Gords, we make a gingerbread “house” every year and send out a picture of it as a Christmas greeting. I just added the whole collection online.

Man you make constructing a home gym and building gingerbread sleighs and boats look fun! The attention to detail is amazing. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

My suggestion for next year is a gingerbread gym in the backyard of the gingerbread house…

Hehe, excellent idea. Who knows…

Just wanted to say great site, im still not sure how i stumbled across it but i did. I think the outdoor gym is pretty cool and i also like the Tibetan stuff you did. This site actually inspired me to start my own Powerlifting blog give myself a bit of a kick in the pants for new PR’s. anyway, just wanted to say hi and to keep up the good work, very inspiring to see the passion and dedication you have for the sport and spirituality…..

Chris, thanks for the kind words. I checked out your blog and noted that we have quite a lot in common (age, young child, Tibet… name…goatee)… well, except for the weight on the bar. You’re strong dude, but don’t let that stop you from getting any stronger. Actually, forget what I just said. You’re weak. Better throw some more wood on the fire.
I’ll do my best in keeping up with your blog. I’ll also do my best in trying to get mine back on track, got some catching up to do…

This entry is now back online since I finally managed to backblog the stuff before it. Forging on… approaching the present… must be careful as to not speed into the future… who has got the breaks?

This reminds me of an episode in Mel Brooks’ Spaceballs… Anyone else see this in their mind’s eye? “Stop this thing, I order you! Stooooooooppp!!!” Hehe, and little man dressed in black goes flying off into console.

Speaking of Spaceballs… we rewatched it with Sanna a couple of years ago expecting to roll off the couch in laughter. To our dismay, it didn’t happen. Wasn’t even close. Now, I am again starting to vividly remember this movie as one of the funniest ever. Lesson learned: don’t rewatch movies you found funny in your teens. They are much funnier in your head. Long live Dark Helmet!

True, so true. Except with Monty Python movies. Holy Grail! Holy Grail!

Yes, Monty Python movies are a major exception.
