    That’s certainly an interesting camera angle (view from the top of the rack); if you’ve got a willing photo assistant with you next time you’re doing standard bench presses that would make for a nice comparison.

    Are there any shots on the Blakley video from that angle? I’m curious to see what his idea of an optimal path is. Would also be good to see a JM press from above.

    On a side note, I see that mansrinne.com is still ‘coming soon’. Is it still in the works?

    I’ve already planned to repeat the process for the bench - I have a feeling I’ve developed some nasty habits there - but not quite sure when it will be possible. I’ve discussed the JM press with a reader recently and actually thought of doing some for the camera as well, but as we had to rush off early there wasn’t time. The bar should go pretty much in a straight line on these, at least doing them the way I do them. As far as I recall, the JM video does not have any shots straight from above.

    Don’t know when Måns’s site will pop online, depends on him. Could be any day or in a few months… suspense!

    Seems like I might just get my bench taped tomorrow. If so, I will also sneak in a set of JMs.
