I’m getting intrigued by this routine. Might just have to give it a go - with the kettlebell for now. Back to the heavy stuff shortly.

It’s a good routine all right. Just make sure to get thoroughly used to the heavy stuff again before trying it. Knowing what I know now, I wasn’t quite ready for it, but I got over the joint pain and now everything seems to work out splendidly in the end.

I should have the rack once again on Tuesday - to say I’m looking forward to it is an understatement!
The plan is to spend a month or two on a fairly standard 4-day-per-week Westside template, before giving the Russian routine a serious go. Really looking forward to your summary of the first run through it.
