They’re nasty, those lunges are. Makes every place you didn’t even know about ache… Great stability work for the midsection.

After all that squatting, your lunges were as good as could be expected, Kris. Ouch!!! BTW, that cambered bar squats was deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

Yeah, like Måns, I can definitively feel them everywhere afterwards so who cares if I do them drunken sailor style… as long as the mirrors stay intact that is. The cambered bar squats were ass to the grass; am doing quite a lot of full range squatting nowadays (mostly sting ray, manta ray and cambered bar). Speaking of squatting, have you had a chance to play with the SS Yoke Bar yet?

So far, I’ve only received the Texas Power Bar, Trap Bar, average bands (I’m not THAT strong but to do assisted dips/chins for high reps a light band won’t do); I’m still waiting for everything else. Hopefully, by the time I go on the EliteFTS Beginners program, I’ll have the Yoke Bar - - - and see if the SSB squats are any more different than a Manta Ray squat.

Holy smoke Alberto, did you order a full powerlifting gym in one sitting? Please promise here and now that you will be taking some pictures of it when it is ready.

Promise, Kris. I made a lot on my house sale. My wife had always wanted a home gym with the essentials (she loves free weights) where she could get a workout without being stared at or having to drive to the gym. Because of the gym size (21 feet long by 10 feet wide), I kept it simple but effective. Also, I was told to keep it under $5000 US for the what I ordered from Elite, we bought an elliptical, dumbbells, and plates elsewhere. I I could have probably got some stuff used but 1.) I would rather get good gear and own it a long time and 2.) Working out at 2 different gyms, I’ve seen how others treat equipment sometimes. Combined with what I already own, it is all me, my wife, and son may ever need.
