Indeed. Haven’t tried a buffalo bar either, it’ll be a first when I get up to the cottage. Can’t imagine this being a bad purchase though.

Jamie, I’ll exchange the bar for your total. Good work at the Nationals, you should definitively reward yourself with a buffalo bar if you can afford it!
Chris, a safety squat bar would indeed be something. Have you had a chance to try one out? For some unfathomable reason, the “only” specialty bars at Metal are a Westside camber bar and a 2″ cambered bar for benching. On the other hand, these bars, especially the Westside bar, appear to be in very heavy use. Apparently, that’s the only specialty bars you need to become competitive at the Worlds level. Still…

I just ordered an SSB Yoke bar for the home gym. I’ll let you know how that bar feels.

The bar has arrived safely at Toffe’s. It will be at least a few weeks before I can get up there to try it out.
