QuizEngine and Tibword for Windows betas released
I’ve done my share of manually registering and uploading personal copies of my beta-level Tibetan software. The steady trickle will be pleased to note that you can now grab both the QuizEngine and Tibword for Windows betas directly. That said, do keep in mind that this is unsupported and unreleased software. Stable enough for long-term use? Yes. Am I getting any younger? No.

Our cutest family member will be christened Rufus Andreas. At least that’s what it said in the two major Finnish newspapers yesterday… The family page has been updated accordingly.

Proud father
Our first child, a healthy boy of 4030 grams, was born on February 19th. Life will never be the same, and for that we will be eternally grateful.

Book wanted
To fill a glaring gap in my bookshelf, I am looking for the following book. I am willing to pay a decent price if somebody can get me a copy (e-mail address at bottom of this page).
Edit 3 Dec 2005: Finally located a used copy. Nothing like finding a book you have been frantically searching for the last two years. Something tells me I should start thinking about writing a certain master’s thesis now…

:-))))))))
On 29 April 2004, I proposed to my lovely lady Sanna who happily said yes!! What a great finish to a great holiday in Tuscany! And what better place to buy our rings than on Ponte Vecchio in Florence, an old bridge that since the late 15th century has been home to goldsmiths?
Sanna, jag älskar dej!

Where to buy tsampa
As I get a steady number of inquiries about where to buy tsampa in the West, I started a listing. So far the only brand I am aware of is Sonam’s Tsampa. Shoot me an e-mail if you know of any other sellers/manufacturers.

Major additions to the Tibetan Software section
Spent a couple of days and brought much of my Tibetan software and typeface projects online. The material ranges from previously released learning software to prototypes testing out such things as Tibetan speed reading and advanced quizzing. The jewel in the lotus is a preview of my main typeface currently known by its working name Tsampa Classic.

Going live… 3… 2… 1…
Welcome to tsampa.org, which is going live today. It is about time; my first Tibetan learning program Tibword was released back in 1998-99, but has as far as I know never been publicly available on the web. I still have a lot of material waiting to be put online, so expect this site to keep growing throughout May. This frontpage is where new additions will be announced.
If you find yourself wondering what tsampa is, wonder no more. If you are into some form of weight training you might also be interested in my training blog Under the bar.
The design will also be refined later down the road, what matters now is that this site validates as XHTML 1.1 and is finally online.
